In the direction of Stockholm!

Yesterday we spent the day in Kiev - me, Denitsa and Tolya (a friend of Nastia and Artem). I had actually seen most things before, since I spent two whole days in the beginning in Kiev as well. Next time I'm more interrested in visit a museum or something like that, since it starting to get too cold for walking around and looking at churches.

One thing I had missed during my time spent in Kiev was a monument of geographical directions. Apparently the direction of Stockholm was pointed out. So if you some day find yourself in Kiev and are curious about which way you should start walking if you want to get back to Stockholm, I here give you the direction with help by some pictures. Enjoy!

Stockholm (third one, for you who can't read the cyrillic alphabet) - 1268 km

Walk in this direction! You know you're on the right way if you find yourself at the Baltic sea after a couple of kilometers. How to cross? No idea, try walking. Either way as Jesus - on the sea, or as in the Pirates of the Carribbean - on the bottom of the sea!

The monument from the direction of Stockholm, with Spoungebob Squarepants walking in the direction of something else.

Maidan Nezaleshnosti - Independence square.

Maidan Nezaleshnosti from the other direction.

Bridge over one of the bigger roads in Kiev, besides Maidan.

It was a very doshchy (rainy) and tumanyy (foggy) day, so the panoramaviews we visited wasn't exactly panoramaviews yesterday. It wasn't the best day for touristpictures of the city...
